Sure – we make mistakes from time to time... But if problems arise, you can be sure that we will always do our best to provide you with a gearbox that works well.

 

We have been renovating gearboxes for over 20 years, so we have the expertise and resources to maintain a high level of quality in our gearboxes.

Conditions: The insurance is to be ordered by at the latest when the gearbox is dispatched from Hellsten växellådor.

Gearboxes supplied by us are guaranteed

On our gearboxes, we provide a 12-month guarantee up to 40,000 km (24,800 miles). At our workshop in Kungsbacka in Sweden, we repair manufacturing faults free of charge. .

  

When you suspect the gearbox to be faulty

When you suspect the gearbox to be faulty, you must contact Hellsten Växellådor immediately. Vehicles with faulty gearboxes must not be driven as the fault might destroy the gearbox – which the guarantee does not cover.

 

Rectification

When lodging a claim, the first step is to see if the fault can be rectified in-car. If the gearbox is defective, it has to be sent to Hellsten Växellådor for rectification/repair. If repair is not possible, the gearbox will be replaced.

 

The guarantee does not cover

* Faults caused by fitting errors (ask us about advice on fitting)

* Costs for loss of use are not covered by the guarantee.
   If removal and refitting are necessary, the exchange will be
   free of charge at our workshop.

* Compensation will be paid for work done by another workshop
   following prior agreement with us.

* The guarantee does not cover faults caused by driving
   after a fault has been suspected.

 

Worth bearing in mind during guarantee cases

* If you suspect a fault – stop your vehicle, do not drive any more

* Submit a claim report immediately

* The guarantee certificate must be sent to us within 14 days of
   delivery/fitting

 

Claim report

Ring or fax in your claim report. Provide the following details:

 

* Name and phone number of contact person

* Order and/or invoice number

* Description of the symptoms
